Nine persons injured in three-vehicle crash near Santa Clarita

The rural roads that snake through the mountains north of Los Angeles are often the scene of car and motorcycle collisions. Drivers do not always observe the lane markings, and the many blind curves only add to the hazards. A recent car accident involving a motorcycle, an SUV, and a passenger sedan, shows how such collisions often produce many injuries.

Tow truck driver IDs driver in fatal hit-and-run

Identifying a driver who causes a fatal accident and then flees the scene can be one of the police's most difficult tasks. In a recent truck and car accident on I-15 just north of San Diego County, however, the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident gave police a present by hiring a tow truck to haul his car home after he left the scene of the collision.

Jury awards $45 million to family of taco-truck crash victims

A Los Angeles jury recently answered "Yes" to the question and awarded $45 million in damages to four children whose mother was killed when a drunk driver crashed a friend's car into a line of waiting customers at a taco truck.

A recent truck accident on an exit ramp on the 405 freeway once again demonstrates the point.
